Why i cannot get access to my graphic card control panel

Hello,by right clicking on my desktop i cannot get access to my graphic card control panel.suggest me some right path

Sarvesh,

when you actually installed the card (doesn't matter if YOU didn't), did you either:

a) install the drivers and tools from the CD/ DVD included in the packaging, or

b) look up the drivers for your card online (ie: at AMD or nVidia) , download and install them.

both these options will install a control panel for your particular card.


EDIT: Sorry, didn't realise you were specifically in the nVidia section.

If you go to nVidia and enter the specific details of your card, you can download the drivers (which includes nVidia control Panel).

Yu must first UNINSTALL the old one (and all nVidia files)..not just delete or leave as is..

The safest way to make sure it is all done cleanly is to then restart computer, install the new driver files and (from memory) you will probably have the computer restarted again.

The desktop context menu needs to be enabled via the control panel.
