I just built a new rig using a HAF 932 case and ASRock Extreme3 Gen 3 MB. The case has a cable running from the front panel with a 1394a plug attached.
I see nowhere to place it on my MB and am wondering if it is used for a sound card or something else.

I love the case but Cooler Master just assumes everyone is clairvoyant when it comes to instructions.

More about : 1394 cable

That is the firewire (1394a) connector, which your motherboard does not support.

So just tape or tug it away somewhere, since it's not usable for you.
