My XP Pro notebook lost power while when I accidentally
kicked the power cord. When I turned the machine back on,
the basic Windows XP Theme is not available. The start
button etc. looks like the old classic windows theme. The
XP theme pictures are available for the desktop
background. I have my XP Pro installation cd and was
wondering if anyone can help me get my old theme back.

Thanks,
Casey

Casey use a restore point that was established before the disconnect.

I just tried the restore point method, and it did not
work. I think the files no longer exist. I went to
Display Properties - Appearances and there is a drop down
list that should have Windows XP Style (or something to
that effect), but it only has Windows Classic Style.
