Hello,
I have an HD4850 gpu and would like to upgrade to an HD9650, or a gpu in the $200 price range. I'm concerned that my current mobo and processor won't support the new card.

My current setup is:

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R P45 775 R
GPU: VGA Sapphire HD 4850 512M
RAM: 4GB
CPU: Intel Core Two Duo E8400 3GHz
PSU: Corsair 750W
MONITOR: 21.5" LCD

For about 200 - 250, you can find a nice HD 6950 or a GTX 560 Ti. I am an nVIDIA guy so I recommend the GTX 560 Ti but there is nothing wrong with the HD 6950, they perform pretty much at the same level.

3rd party vendors that I prefer:
nVIDIA - MSI, eVGA
ATi - MSI, HIS

It looks like the XFX is the only 6950 that I can find close to your $200 budget amount and that is because of the $30 rebate which will expire on1/15/2112. There are also some others to look at and you will find a few 560Ti's in the $200 range but for the most part the 560's are in you budget range.
