So, i've bought this PC off ebay for 200 pound and i'm looking to upgrade as gaming performance is, as i expected, not upto the standards i require. I plan to upgrade in a few months
My PC has the following specs:
Current Graphics - PNY Nvidia Geforce GT 220 DDR2 512MB
Processor - AMD Athlon II x2 220 @ 2.8GHz AM3
RAM - 3GB DDR3 1333Mhz (2GB+1GB)
Hard Drive - 500GB
Motherboard - M2N68-LA (Narra6)
PSU - Generic 300W
Case - Mid-size ATX
The size of the case is
Height: 38.40 cm (15.12 inches)
Width: 16.58 cm (6.53 inches)
Length: 42.9 cm (16.89 inches)

I've looked at, and listed possible options here
HD 4850
HD 4870
HD 5670
HD 5750
HD 5770
HD 6670
HD 6750
HD 6770
9800GT
9800GTX+/GTS 250
GTS 450
GTX 460 768MB

Is it worth waiting for the future graphics cards? I've been looking at stuff like the HD 77XX series and geforce equivalents.

*note: Yes i know that power supply won't be enough for anything other than the HD 5670 on the list, which is why i'm willing to buy a new PSU. Would a CX 430 be enough, bear in mind that i'm planning on a processor upgrade months from now probably an FX-4100.*

I know, from what i've seen from my friends HD 4890 which i think is around just a little more performance

My PSU won't even handle a HD 5750 because of the lack of a power connector. This is why i'm willing to buy a new PSU if need be.
