Artifacting in games

Ok a few weeks I started getting artifacting in games which has got progressively worse and is now happening on the desktop after exiting games, a few weeks ago I also sent my card back to get it replaced as I thought it was the problem but I was later emailed that there was nothing wrong with the graphics card.

Perhaps it is overclocked too high?
