I've been thinking about setting up a cross fire with another Radeon 6950. I currently have a Corsair GS800 PSU. I don't think it will run 2 cards but I wanted to ask before I invested in another card and or a new PSU. So here's the million dollar question. Will I need to get a new PSU and if so what brand/wattage should I go for?

GS 800 is decent with 65A on the +12V rail output with 4 x 6+2-Pin PCI-E connectors. It is equivalent to the TX750 PSU. Do not worry, just make sure you have a compatible motherboard.

EDIT: Just to add, it will hold even GTX 590.

2 hd6950 (with a cpu) requires 650w at 12v rail means min 55a at 12v combined

your psu gives 65a which is enough

means it can run 2 6950

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked is cause it said the system requirements was a 500watt PSU. If you have any pointers or tips for a crossfire setup please let me know.
