Hi i have a build ive been working on. Can someone suggest if this is good or not? I'm trying to stay at 1000$ maybe a little more
CPU: I5 2500k 3.3 ghz: 180$:At Microcenter
GPU:2 Radeon 6870 1gbs: 339.98:Newegg
MOBO: ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS: 125$:NEWEGG
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast series TX650 V2 650W Power Supply: 90$:NEWEGG
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 8gb(2x4gb): 43$:NEWEGG
Case: Cooler Master Elite 430: 45$:NEWEGG
I need a cooling system, probably a new PSU, and can someone tell me if these parts have any good alternatives to maybe put in there or maybe cheaper at same performance? And is there maybe a different place where i can get the same items for cheaper. Also i DO plan on OCing the 2500k. My total so far is about 828$ without tax. Someone tell me something! thanks

First off all , change the motherboard ,is can't support realy a Crossfire configuration because PCIE work at x16/x4 and you can't benefit to the full bandwith of PCIE slots.
This is a cheap and good option ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
CPU COOLER : COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
My advice is not to buy two video cards now. Buy one powerfull and you can add another one after 1 - 2 years. Buy a 7950 it fit in your budget.

Problem is, I don't think I could afford it, i like that gpu a lot, is there anything else we can replace to save a few bucks and keep good or same performance. Power supply? Case?

that would really be pushing the budget. i cant really go over, btw if it helps i plan on purchasing this in mid july(birthday) do u think prices of some of these things will lower in the next 4 months or so?

I think your costs are as low as you're going to find for those parts. Still going to need a SSD for your OS (60 GB min, I would recommend 80-120 to have room for programs), HDD for storage (I know you're going to be tempted to go 1TB or higher, but the cost is just plain going to stink until late 2013). Cost is going to vary, you're looking at $100 for reliable 60GB (SATAIII), $175-200 for 120 GB. Here's my cheap recommendation:

Here's my performance recommendation:

I agree with the Hyper 212 - most bang for your buck but I don't know about whether it will fit in your case or not. It'll be a gamble...$35

Well the problem is, i would still need a monitor, hdd, and ssd and im going to stick with the 2500k cuz i can get it for ten bucks cheaper than the 2400 and its more powerful. ill go for that motherboard and save 20$. I guess ill start mowing lawns now. (I'm only 13.) I have to sell laptop and ipod touch which will get me around 600$ probably. i have 104$ cash now and ill probably get around 200$ for my birthday(mid july) and mow lawns in between to get me to around 1000-1300$. any other suggestions? im going to do all i can to get that gpu by this july or august!
