Hello all,

I have an older card from a PC I built a little over a year ago. ASRock X58 Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard (see link below)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157163

I currently have a Radeon 5850 in there which I had intended to crossfire (more because I have not done it before and wanted to learn first hand) but did not at the time.

I am now interested in doing 2 SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity. (see link below)

Can anyone confirm or deny that this is possible with this motherboard? I have been out of the loop for a bit and fail to remember exactly what I need to be aware of when attempting to upgrade my cards in a crossfire configuration.

Thanks in advance

checked your manual:

2. In CrossFireXTM
mode or SLI
TM
mode, please install PCI Express x16
graphics cards on PCIE2 and PCIE4 slots. Therefore, both these two
slots will work at x16 bandwidth

both dark blue slots.
