Hi :)

Keep the psu...you should never try and save money on the most important part of a machine...

All the best Brett :)

You think I could get away with a 550W power supply?

Hi :)

Either will do but personally I would run the bigger one for future upgradeability...

at 70$ for that antec bp(including shipping) it isnt worth it. there are several psus in tha price range, even ones on sale which would be a better choice.

for instance, the seasonic m12ii 520w is 70$ with the shipping. the rosewill green series 630w and lower are on 15% sale(and is cheaper). the corsair builder 600w is about the same price as well.

If you dont plan on overclocking then you can save a little by dropping to the i5-2500 or 2400.

if you plan on overclocking, keep the 620w and add in a cpu cooler like the hyper212+ or Evo.
