First build, IB + z68 question

Hey guys, so I just ordered parts for my new build but I've been reading about problems with the bios on the motherboard I ordered (ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3) not accepting Ivy bridge. Is this true? Am I going to have to order a cheap SB cpu to flash the bios?

What i've seen the most prominent problem to be is that you wont be able to boot with that CPU out of the box. You'd probably need to return that one and grab a z77 or borrow an SB cpu and use that for the bios update.

What's the cheapest SB cpu I could use?

$50 Celeron. Might find it cheaper on ebay but that's newegg. I already have an i5-2500k but I want PCI-3.0

    +1 the upgrader

I just got done posting this same thing over on the motherboard forum.

Jb256, if you know a computer shop around you they might be willing to do this for you without you having to buy the processor.
