Greetings,

I am looking for advice for a good upgrade to an ATI 5570 1 GB card. I have a Dell XPS 430 with a Intel Quad Core 2 2.5 gHz and 6 GB RAM. I believe the power supply is only 375w.

Most games run really well (Assassin's Creed Revelations at max quality, Skyrim at Medium+ quality). I'm actually surprised how much life I've gotten out of this card and PC. However I wouldn't mind a bit more power and perhaps another year or so of use out of this box.

I can also add another 2 GB of system RAM but I'm thinking that wont make too much of a difference.

more than 6gb ram is not necessary. as said above a 5670 is an upgrade that wouldn't require a new psu, but its not really that much better, its essentially an overclocked 5570. A worth while upgrade would be a 5770/6770 which should run from that psu, dell 375w psu's are quite robust i've heard. Anything more than a 5770 and you will find yourself with a cpu bottleneck in many games. http://www.dell.com/us/en/bpi/desktops/desktop-xps-430/pd.aspx?refid=desktop-xps-430&s=bpi going by this, yuo have a 425w psu, which will definitely run a 5770/6770, possibly even a 6850.
