U all know how ups works
it is connected to a main power socket(the one which supplies ups its power) and we turn on the switch on the ups
but i dont know what is happening to me
when i turned on the switch so that usp starts getting energy
but i didnt not turned on the button on the usp and even without it my pc got the power and botted up
whats the probleam has my usp been ruined or broken

some UPS have different sorts of power sockets:
-sockets with battery and protection (surges,...) => ups needs to be turned on
-sockets with only protection => some ups dont need to be turned on for this.

no my ups was working fine on the other day
its light is flashing green like in charging mode and still the cpu is getting power
it is not normal
normal is when i press the button on the ups and the green light gets stable
and then power reaches the cpu
but today without it
