Pavilion s3220n amd cpu options

Hello, I have this computer for about 4yrs now and has work pretty good so far now I'm thinking on update the cpu if there is any options for it my specs right now are
( AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 5000+ 2.60 GHz, 2gb ram, W7 home premium 32-bit, Video GIGABYTE GV-R645D3-512I)

Well you could go to the 5200+ but that would be pretty pointless.
Sorry, you're at the end of the road with that box.

According to Hp's website these are the only processors that will work with the motherboard in your computer.

Processor upgrade information
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
Athlon 64 X2 with Dual Core technology up to 65 Watt
Athlon 64 up to 65 Watt
Sempron up to 65 Watt

IMO none of them are worth "upgrading" to. At this point all those processors are pretty much obsolete so there really isn't anything more you can do. I would trash it and get a new computer or build your own.

Correct and the athlon 64 x2 5200+ is the highest clocked 65w part.
