Okay so I am building my first gaming. For the last couple of months I have been compelling a list of components I want to use. Here is what I have.

I7 2600k: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Evga Gtx580: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

8gbs of ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Seasonic 750w power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Asrock z68 motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

As you may have noticed I am buying everything from Newegg.com. The only thing I havnt found yet is a harddrive. I do not want a Ssd. So what do you guys think of the list? Any tips?

Also, I picked the motherboard because I will be able to upgrade in the future with Ivy bridge CPU and 3.0 Gpu's. Will I be able to put the 2600k and the gtx 580 in there now though?

My tips would be to drop the 2600K to a 2500K and invest that difference in upgrading your case to something like a Corsair Carbide or NZXT Phantom, and then put the rest into getting a 7970 - the 580 is good, but the 7970 is *WAY* better.

If you want a hard drive I'd suggest this but you will be paying a premium due to the shortages: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

For case suggestions - the Antec 300 is good but I would put a bit more into it and get something like this:

- Corsair Carbide 400R: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
- Fractal Design Arc MIDI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
- NZXT Phantom: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

For the GPU get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
