Not enough power getting to GPU? 560 ti

Hey guys,

I need your opinions, How Do I know If My Graphics Card Is not getting enough power?

I ask this because I recently got a 560 ti and I'm using an OCZ stealthXstream 500w.

OCZ don't seem to be a bad brand. And Minimum requirements of 560 ti is 500w. and 30 amps 12v.

My psu is rated at 18 amps per 12 volt rail. ( I have 2) so technically that means I have 34 amps. So i should be fine...

What do you guys think?

Btw, nothing fancy in my case, 1 HDD, no optical drive.

Is it running?

No crashes, image defects?

Than you're OK. Run a benchmark for a bit like 3DMark, should stress things enough that if you had issues you'd see them then.

Concur with hang-the-9.
What I'd do is run furmark and monitor the +12V rail. Min val for +12 V rail is 11.4, but Myself I ditch the PSU if it drops below 11.6V. Side Note, there was one post here where the +12 was within spec, but the output was very noisy creating problems.
Bottom Line, NO problems, and +12 V is above 11.6 while running furmark, then GOOD to go!

Normally the best option is to check the Utility disk that comes with the MB. It normally has a section on "health" showing voltages and temps.
2nd choice is a software program such as CPUID HWMonitor (Can goole it for down load). If you try it and the +12 V shows up as 8 or 10 volt - ignore it as it is wrong, and has not been updated for your MB/CPU. Inwhich case there are some other programs such as Speedfan, ect.
