I'm looking at upgrading my GPU to be able to play battlefield 3 on med-high settings. Found these two cards at best buy and wanted to know which is better? I heard its beneficial to have more GPU RAM for the game? Both brands seem reliable too. Also the nVidia card says it only has 1 processor vs 192 on the EVGA?

Another thing, which one would be good for future 3D movie viewing?

This card will be a lot better then the 550Ti you had listed and only $10 more after rebate. The 550Ti's are just not a very good card for playing BF3 and you will only get to play at low settings , maybe medium. The cores you are refering to are processing cores and not the gpu both cards only have one gpu and both have a set number of processing cores for the shaders. While the 550Ti has 192 processor cores the 560Ti ahd 384 so you can see how much better the 560Ti is than the 550Ti. With the 560Ti being only $10 more it makes sense to go with the 560Ti.
