Dell gx280

I've got a dell optiplex gx280 that's way outdated. So I thought why not use the case and rebuild it from scratch or perhaps update it? This may be a waste of time and money, but I thought I would ask anyhow. It's only for web browsing and some video editing/viewing. I am open to alternate ideas.....maybe a central storage or server or maybe a DVR....just a thought....thanks in advance.

The hassles you'd encounter retrofitting that case to work with industry standard parts just isn't worth it. For 60 to 70, you can have a spanking brand new case that is well build and allows you to do whatever you want with it.

That's what I thought. Other than a doorstop, any other ideas for other uses for this relic?

Nope. Give it in to recycling.
