ASUS Gtx 560 ti dcii

2TB western digital caviar green
asus p8z68v pro/gen3
1280x1024 res 18" acer monitor
windows 7 64 bit oem version
I built my computer and did everything correct, as far as I can tell. I tried playing a game, lagged horribly. I updated the GPU driver and ALL my games ran incredibly smooth on ultra high settings. I stopped playing my games and decided to download the rest of my games, 3 hours later, I try playing my games again, lag spikes everywhere!!! I updated my BIOS, GPU and all the works. I had 2 BSOD, one involving something about nonpage (put maximum setting on GPU), second one was about memory management (I kept switching the core speed and engine and memory of GPU and went back to default, then I double clicked my game and BSOD happened). So what's going on?!
My old computer had GT220 and 4gb ram and the games did not lag at all, until it ran out of virtual memory.
