2nd Sapphire HD6870 Crossfire on x4 PICe 2.0

Hi,

I currently have an Asus p8z68 v-lx with i5 2400 CPU overclocked to 3.6Ghz, 8GB RAM and 1 already installed Sapphire HD6870 GPU. So the issue is that the 2nd PCIe lane bandwidth is x4 which I do found some were saying that the performance difference is not really noticeable. Is this through? Has anyone here is having the same dilemma as I am or perhaps maybe had gone through it? Appreciate a comment

Will the degrade be below 5% out of the expected performance on 2 x16 PCIEs?

I know there is not a whole lot of difference between x4 and x8 PCI-E bandwidth however I cannot say how it would affect when in CF mode it could be a whole new story when 2 lanes are in use at the same time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSfifE2Domo&feature=relmfu

Still in gaming the difference is not really noticeable and surely they will be a performance increase as well So, i'd stick with my current mobo for a while n decide to get a second hd6870
