Kepler will be out soon and we'll see some benches and prices then but so far looks pretty impressive:
IF this is correct

LOL where did you find that Mantra LOL 680 is not even been tested yet LOL that much faster than 7970 will never happen well unless the 680 will be a dual GPU but really are you claiming that an 680 will be faster than a Mars II GTX 580 LOL.

How do you say a laptop has anything to do with high end desktop GPUs back on point Kelpers is not out and has not even got reviewed from anyone anywhere so please lets leave it alone for now.

that laptop IS a kepler (640M) so you saying it isn't out yet is incorrect.
gpus always come out in the mobile market first; its a decent barometer for how desktop gpus will perform.

you really do need to brush up on some reading skills.

take your own advice and don't tell people to buy things that aren't out yet.

I don't get why someone's being criticized for giving helpful information. Looks like a mad AMD fanboy or something.

I feel like looniam is completely correct as the OP's order is for July-August. Why would you not wait for everything to come out before making a final decision? Even if the new 600 series doesn't release perfect they will have had a few months to roll out a revision.

Sure lets wait and see thats a great idea but the thing is when people post fake unsubstantiated rhetorical graph numbers it makes it hard to take them serious. Kelper is not out and has not been reviewed end of story.

The "fake" information on the 7970 seemed about right iirc. It's not helpful to the OP to just flame someone, just provide them with your opinion that the information is not reliable.

OP here, thank you. I just need some help, the monitor was nice, I said July so Kepler was going to be out anyway. I will see how they stack up in performance and price. Don't argue about it guys, I just need some help on maybe replacing some parts like i first posted. My items are going to change and i wanted to start now, I started with a a 6850, went to crossfire 6870s, then 7950, now 7870 so my gpu has changed 4 times in the past 4 days. I need to know what the best bang for the buck GPU is currently and what in the future will be good. Any news on radeon 8000 series(I like both brands, but radeon is going uphill and it wasn't that much before, and they seem to run quieter and with less heat. I need help. Thank you kcsmack for the monitor suggestion.

Well all of the major publications have confirmed and Reviewed the Radeons 7xxx series performance numbers is all I am saying has a reviewer got there hand on a Physical Kelper GTX 680 or the like for full on real world testing cause if they have I apologize but the fact remains is all we have to go on is what nvidias says and of course they will pump it up biased LOL.

Radeon 8000s will not be out for a long time mate the 7000s are brand new LOL I think the best bang for buck cards right now are the Radeon HD 7850 and the GTX 560ti but the Radeon performance is much better and cost the same as the 560ti. Another option is to just to go SLI of CF with some older cheaper cards if your rig is setup properly to take advantage of it.

I think it's more accurate to pick a card based upon how it performs across all the games one owns and plays the most for example does one play Nvidia TWIMTBP games and WoW then may I suggest to go with Nvidia in that case or do you want Eyefynity or HD+ resolution and lower power draw and cooler running card then I would suggest to go with Radeon.

Thank you, though it seems you like Radeon more I appreciate it and i have taken these factors in consideration. Right now, the best card for me is the Radeon 7870 i think, I'll check back in a month and see what it is then.

Lol why is there an argument between cards that are not in the same price range and not even out yet? I personally, am going with the 7870 when it comes out unless Keplar ships before that day and gives me something better for less than $400. And you might as well knock a couple of bucks off that price by buying a CPU without integrated graphics. Ivy Bridge should be out by July...Look into those chips.
