5870 crossfire

Hi I'm running a 2 5870's in crossfire on an Asus M4a88td-v evo/usb3 motherboard. From what I understand this motherboard runs my cards at 16x and 4x. My roommate has a single 6870. Should my cards combined blow his out of the water because right now I have a much lower frame rate in SCII. For the record he is running a i5-2500 and I'm running an Athlon II 3.2ghz.

SC2 is cpu dependent and his CPU is way better than yours. Go play BF3 and it'll be another story, one 5870 is better than a 6870.
