I've had a GTS 250 for about 2 years now and I definitely believe it's time to upgrade.

Iv'e been looking around newegg for some different cards, but I would like to know what you guys think would be good for a $200-$250 upgrade.

My other specs are:

AMD Athlon X4 @3.2 ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
700W Corsair PSU

A very mid-range system, but would would give me the most bang for my buck?

With your budget the GTX 560 Ti or the AMD/ATI HD 6950. Or wait a little while and get the new 7870's for around the same price as 6950. Or just wait untill the prices in the 6xxx series drop. This is just food for thought

I like Nvidia cards. The 7950 is going to be around 450 dollars the 7970's just sold for 550 dollars. The 7870's I don't know when they are coming out but soon I hear.

Me I am going to wait untill the Nvidia Kepler the 6xx series hits the stores and then the pricing should fall and then I am going to buy the GTX 560 Ti's 448 cores.

That will work just perfect for the type of games I lone to play. The reason for waiting so long is I don't think the prices are going to fall untill all the new video cards are out.

Yea, first I was waiting for the 4xx series to drop in price, and now I'm waiting for the 5xx series to drop in price. If I keep doing this I will be waiting forever, so I'm probably going to go with the GTX 560 Ti. I've got the money for it and I'm tired of waiting.

Thanks for the help guys.
