Hello, I was wondering if there is a big difference when comparing the (Sapphire) Radeon HD 6670 DDR3 version vs the GDDR5 version. The DDR3 costs 80$ (65$ after the MIR) and the GDDR5 is 96$ (81$ after MIR). Will there be a big difference between the two? The highest end game Im planning on playing would be Skyrim (Not at a high res either as I have a fairly small monitor) Any suggestions? Thanks.

Also if you suggest a different brand then Sapphire I would be glad to hear why Ive only bought one other card and that was from EVGA.

the GDDR5 card will be about 10% faster, in nearly every scenario.
here is an article comparing GDDR5 and GDDR3 ram on some slightly slower cards.

Hey I used a 5670 DDR3 and a DDR5 variant. Please pick up the DDR5 option if its similarly priced. The DDR3 version always felt anemic even at low resolutions and low settings.

As stated by others, it will be worth it to pick up the ddr5 version. Newer tech=better futureproofing. Good luck!
