Can't load printer software

Hello,
Trying to add HP desktop with Vista to my network of Dell 4700 desktop with XP and Dell 962 printer. Printer software starts to load but stops about 2/3 through the first disc. I think I have everything set up to share the printer. I tried to print a test from Notepad. It did everything up to printing the sample and stopped.

Have you tried to right click on the setup file and choose "Run as Administrator"?

Where do I find the setup file?

can you see the shared printer on the Network?

if so right click on the printer and choose connect. it will try to install the printer automatically

I can connect to the printer but I can't install the software. The window indicates it installed software but then disappears from screen and stops without ever asking to install disc #2.
