First computer build

Okay, so I am building my first ever desktop and need advice. It is being built for gaming and high intensity virtualization, as I am a network security major and need to be able to create and around 4 virtualized machines for working on security, maybe even a light server. I am also doing this on a budget so I am trying to keep the price at $850 or below if possible. I also will be getting Windows 7 from my college a heck of a lot cheaper than anywhere so I have no need for that. Parts listed below:

Change the PSU to XFX Core850W PSU.

Actually, for a 6770, get a 500W PSU.

intel can handle more load .

I would suggest a i5 2400 and asrock h61 mobo
raidmax dont make good psu

get a seasonic corsair xfx and antec psu. A 550w psu is more than enough
