I have just upgraded a 98SE computer to XP. It has Roxio
CD Creator 5.0 Platinum on it. The program now
automatically starts when the computer boots. How do I
turn this off, I want the screen to start in the desktop
without Roxio's startup screen on it. Thanks.

Uninstall Roxio 5.0. and reboot. Reinstall 5.0 and then get the update,
(www.roxio.com), to version 5.3 which is Roxio certified for XP.

If you talking about the Drag to Disc; you need to read and understand all
about that before you decide to remove or not. Otherwise, Roxion has
several preferences that can be modified so that it doesn't "take over" your
machine.
