Weird slow motion problem FPS

Whenever I play Counter-Strike 1.6 or Battlefield 3, every movement that I do is in slow motion. This goes for my gravity, speed, jumping, shooting and reloading. On Battlefield 3 single player and while viewing a demo on 1.6, everything is in slow motion.

Raedon HD 5770
Intel Core 2 DUo e8400
LP DK P35 motherboard
4g DDR2 memory
500g hard drive

Also to note, whenever I play WoW or SKyrim, this problem doesn't exist. Any words of advice? Ty for your time.

I appologize if this isn't in the right category or sub category. All my friends are really confused why this does happen.

Edit: I already updated my video drivers, did not fix the problem.

What OS? If it's windows xp there is a bug with dual core CPU's and I think it got fixed in sp3.

is it smooth slow motion or is it like just really really low frame rates. cause you can have two videos one at 5fps and another slow motion but at 30 fps.... which one is yours. the choppy one or the smooth one?

I would describe it as slow motion. Its not like the choppiness of low FPS.

That's rather strange. Maybe try downgrading the graphics drivers to an older version! As crazy as it may seem

Just a guess, maybe turn v-sync off? (assuming that it is on?)

This is a counter-strike self "bug" useful for deathruns etc. just set fps limit to max 333, from 334 begins the slowmo
