I have my PC dual booting windows 7 and Linux Mint and I was wondering if I could install windows 7, since it's giving me the black screen problem, using Linux mint. Im getting an error message whenever I run the .exe file, if there is a way to install windows 7 using Linux please explain the process to me
-thanks in advance

You just have to put the CD in and boot from there, there is no need to install from Linux.

There is no option to run the DVD on the menu, do I have to enter a special menu.

Hi :)

With most Dells press F12 when starting and then choose Boot from CD/DVD

With the windows disc in the drive...

All the best Brett :)
