You wish... or rather, he wishes. Perhaps at 1024x768, but there's no way that card would manage 50+FPS average in Crysis 2 with everything on the highest quality at any modern resolution. At 1920x1080 you're more likely to get around 30FPS. Of course you could run in DX9 mode, in which case 50FPS is probably possible. I don't know about the other games.
  4. no, mate i've ran CRYSIS 2 with my old HD 6950 with 1080p everything max except vsync and i got around 52 average 58 max 29 low. 2500k OC'ed to 4.5GHz.

On Direct X9 my 550ti could even max the game out with a constant 60FPS.

    Direct X11 however....
  6. so is my monitor the problem?
  7. If you plan on playing the game on DX11 you won't be able to max out the game.
  8. i would love to play that game on the highest settings, so would it be wiser to get a monitor that has a lower max resolution or in other words not full hd
  9. Drop your money on a better card.

    At least a GTX 480.

Spending money on a downgrade? That doesn't sound very wise to me. :) Better to spend that money on a more powerful card.
