External GPU Solution

Hello, I currently have a late-2009 17" Macbook Pro (9600GT, 4GB ram, 2.8ghz intel core 2 duo, running windows 7 ultimate) and when I am gaming, (primarily SWTOR) I have terrible FPS on lowest settings, is there an external GPU solution that would help improve these framerates? there is an expresscard 34 expansion slot as well and i heard of some external gpu's using these ports,

any help is much appreciated

I'm having the exact same problem... I have 8G of RAM though that I got for the game too. I just thought of the external graphics card too! It's quite annoying having everything set on the lowest settings and even more so when one of the top of the line laptops can barely run a game.
