hey forum.
i just finished puting together my build on newegg
i have not purchached anything yet.

just thought i would post it to see if anyone thinks i should change anything or if there are any major problems.

if you see that i am missing anything plz tell me. this is all i think i need for a complete build (not sure though)

it is very expensive and throws me over budget. i could get alittle extra money but woundering if there are any other options besides windows. all want to do on this pc is gaming.

ohhh ok. thank you for the reply but i have one more question. do you know if the brand of a hard drive matters.
i did not get the cheapest but it is quite a bit cheaper then most of the other ones i have seen on the market
 



its drive preference. the more you pay, the better the warranty is general rule of thumb assuming its the same amount of hdd space. as a starter build though, aim for an hdd that is at least 7200 rpm.

how often would i be using the warranty. do the hard drives typicality break. what parts from my build should i put a warranty on

You might want to consider getting a GTX 480, They're $199 They run a little hotter, but I have one and easily overclocked it to 850mhz from 700 stock in MSI afterburner and the temp never goes above 75c. Also it performs better than my friends computer with crossfire sapphire 6870s. The $30 extra would give you a huge performance boost. Especially in games like BF3 that need more than 1GB of vRAM. Im running BF3 on Ultra with mine, and I only have a Phenom x4 925, So with your i5 you would notice a huge difference.
