A friend told me he has problems booting on his RAID0 controller. So he boots on an other HD... Is that normal ?I'm looking to make a RAID 0 on my A7V133 motherboard with the Promise FastTrack100. Will I be able to boot on the RAID 0 ? Can I make different partitions on the RAID0 with Fdisk or something else ?

You should be able to boot of it. Just remember to set it up in the right order. IE, set up the RAID drive, then fdisk and format, then install the OS. As far as the OS is concerned, the RAID device is a single drive.

I have not yet begun to procrastinate.

unless you use 2k/NT in which case you need to install with the raid controller driver - else it won't see the drive!

For those OS you need the file txtsetup.oem for your controller, plus assocoated files when you unpack them.
