this is for a 2500k with the stock heatsink, i used gelid gc extreme paste
i ran bf3 while coretemps was open to get the results shown here, its about the same as the stock paste as far as temps so far, is there a break in period?
that seems in check to me i recently built a rig with an i7-2600k and it hovers around the same temp when not doing very cpu intensive tasks with the cooler master hyper 212 heat sink. 32c is right around 90ish degrees Fahrenheit give or take but when doing some pretty intense stuff like bf3 for example they shoot up to around 50-60c. that is perfectly fine. see the bar above all of the core temps that says tj.max? that temp is the maximum your cores can reach before the cpu will start to cut itself back to prevent frying itself. so with a max of 70c on one of your cores i wouldn't worry to much.
edit: i just read somewhere intel doesn't recommend over 72c and the tj is the absolute max. so yeah...
btw i would recommend a new heat sink. if your gaming with your rig the stock heat sinks don't really do their job to well haha. i suggest the one i have "cooler master hyper 212" works great and is $25 i think on newegg
