I want to build a new computer but am a little confused about the i7 Sandy Bridge processors and the intel HD graphics. I do realize I must buy a motherboard that is compatable with this but will this supply the graphics without a seperate video card? and or would adding a seperate video card help or hinder the overal graphics.
Thanks so much

  1. You'll be able to use the computer without buying a separate card, because, as you said, it has internal graphics. However, if you plan on doing any gaming beyond Tetris, you'll definitely want to invest in a discrete graphics card.
