Building HTPC with Intel 2105, micro ATX and want USB 3.0 on the front panel. The only intel H67 micro atx motherboard I found with USB 3.0 header is the ASRock H67M-GE/HT. The ASRock H67M-GE/HT comes with a USB 3.0 header bracket for the front panel which is 2.5" wide. Looking at HTPC cases though I don't see any options for a 2.5" external bay. What am I missing here? Also I notice some cases already have USB 3.0 ports on the front. I'm assuming cables come with the case that would plug into the motherboard. True?

The front USB ports [ 2 or 3 ] will have cables attached to plug in to mb headers .

Your mb has the correct USB 3 socket that could take a plug from a case with USB 3 ports built in

It also seems to have a bracket that can mount USB3 ports in a 2.5 inch floppy drive bay if you have a case with no built in USB3 ports . Obviously this is nt able to be fitted to a case with no 2.5 inch bay . It could be fitted to a case with a 3.5 inch bay using an adapter
