Just thought I'd let everyone in on this amazing deal if you didn't already know. The Intel i5 2500k and other select Intel processors are on sale, the 2500k is 169.99 until the 7th (I think) of July. This is a great deal, they regularly go for 219.99 on Newegg and Amazon. I went there today and picked up the processor and a motherboard, and the motherboard was regularly 159.99 and I got it for 79.99 since I bundled it with a select processor. This is a STELLAR deal for anyone in the market for a CPU, I went from a Phenom 1100T and HOLY *** this thing chews through Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 like you would not believe. I do NOT work for Microcenter and I do not endorse them in any way, shape or form. This is simply a little insight to some wonderful savings that are out there.

**THIS DEAL IS IN STORE ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE**

This thing is night and day to any cpu for the price on the market, I had no problem with AMD until I tried this beast out, now I see what all the fan boys are talking about lol.

i live in Australia and it would actually be worth my while to pay someone to go to microcenter (assume in the USA) to get one and pay the shipping back to Australia.

I dont think the deal theyve had forever was $170. I think it was $190. Screaming deal tho wish I lived near one.

They also had the Biostar TZ68A+ motherboard on sale for $49.99 for a while, which works with the $50 off mobo deal.

I ended up getting an i5-2500k and z68 mobo for only $178 including tax

Too bad there arent more Microcenters. Ive got one a couple hours away in Atlanta but after driving down there and sales tax, its cheaper for me to just get one off Newegg for $220. I wish Microcenter would buy out Best Buy! :D
