Xfx Radeon HD 6850

HI just got a new Xfx Radeon HD 6850 and installed it and i'm having screan tearing and graphical glitches on the desktop,while watching movies it pauses then crashes with the not responding error and games just do not run at all.

now i thought it was the card so put my 4870 back in and was ready to send it back and now i'm having the same problem with my old card?

so i thought it was the new 11.12 driver that was the problem and was advised to use the (amd_catalyst_12.1_preview_windows_vista_7) it worked great and i thought i was safe, then today i'm having the same problem again.

any help would be appreciated.

Updating the driver may fix it.
If you already update this driver, Roll back your old driver to see if it better.
Don't put your graphic at 1080P if you monitor can't handle it.

hi thanks for the quick reply's i have my gpu st to 1080p on my 32inch lg tv but have never had any promblem in the past using the old card?

@mdsiu that auto detect would only direct me to the latest driver and that's what i'm having problems with, thanks though.
