Need Advice on a new mobo and processor?

I was going to switch over my I7-920 processor to my other motherboard but my old computer died taking the processor down with it.


I might need a new mobo and processor I pefer intel,I am fine with going for and i5 or i7 processor. What do you suggest I buy that can also save me alot of money?

I managed to salvage some parts that still work

My Gts-450
Blue ray Drive
G SKill Ripsaw 1066 DDR3 memory 4gb sticks with = 8gbs of ram
Raptor Drive and 1 Tb drive
