I think you'd be better off getting an pentium g840 or any other pentium/i3 for the 1155 motherboards that has a good bundle deal. Since the AMD A series cpu don't do well since their cache bottlenecks them in the game they aren't your best option. This is true for the specific game even whe you overcloc the A series cpu's. You can run the game at 720p with low/med settings on its integrated gpu which a good balance for that specific game. Then tell your freind to save up for a AMD Radeon hd 5770/6770 so he can play the game at max settings at 1080p. The 5770 will bring up the computer to $500 but its worth it since your buying a monitor but its worth it. If your freind has a tv with an hd cable he can save money by using it as a monitor instead. This would allow him to get a AMD Radeon hd 5770/6770 while staying in budget.
