$2000 gaming/video editing build (Canada)

Budget Range: $2000 including shipping. (Postal code: B2V 2H3)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: High end gaming (Ultra on BF3), recording video from my Xbox with my HD PVR, editing videos on Sony Vegas.

Parts Not Required: Case, Monitor, Mouse.

if you can wait just for a few more days... nvivida is about to launch its next gen video cards based on kepler chip.... gtx 680 for about the same price as the hd 7970....

What resolution are you planning to play at? The previous posters recommended cards that are good for resolutions like 5760x1080, but other cards outperform them at 1920x1080.

What case do you have?
