Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant

Hi, The Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant won't let me run it without actually logging into an actual Windows 7 admin profile. I've right-clicked the file to "run-as administrator" and entered the correct administrator password but it still says that I can't do that.

I don't really want to run the Upgrade Assistant and download the that actual setup file for the Windows 8 Pro upgrade under the Admin account.


Does anyone have any ideas on this?

You have to be in an ADMIN account...no choice...

well downloading and installing an OS is usually an administrator's job , why don't u wanna go with the administrator account ?

I was only hoping to download the file, and not install it yet.
