So i am making a budget build and the whole thing is going to cost me $750.

all parts

Monitor - Acer S200HLAbd
Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 AM3+ AMD 970
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 960T
Video Card - SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB
Power Supply - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650
Ram - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (x2)
Case - COOLER MASTER HAF 922
HD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 250 GB

All i want to know is how long will this build last me. For example will i be able to play games that come out in the future (Games within 5 years). If anyone have any suggestions u can tell be. By the way this is a budget build so pls, i don't want to here that i should got with a i5 2500k. Maybe u can help me find a better video card.

But anyway ty for suggestions and helping

One thing for certain, no computer you build today is 5-year future proof. I'll give a maximum of 3 years before the HD6870 becomes inadequate, probably less.

I'd suggest cutting a few more corners. Get a cheap $50 case. Get a Corsair CX500 PSU. That's a $100 saved. Use that money on getting a GTX560Ti and a full HD monitor.
