Is there an acer update for the USB port?

Just wondering if anyone here can help me. Everytime I plug in my iphone to my computer I get a message that says iTunes cannot read the contents of the iphone. Looked it up on apple support, tried their other suggestions. The only one left is to update the USB port. Just wondering if there is a USB update for Acer computers that anyone knows about. thanks for any help.

Is that in the front panel? If so, try in the back ports on the I/O plate. It could be due to the front panel not giving enough power, on my case ( it is quite old now ) one of the ports is alot stronger than the other and will charge alot faster. Also another thing to check is the cable itself, have you got another one to try?

There are NO usb updates...its HARDWARE not software...
