I bought a New Power Supply Model # NPS-46088 E, it was supposed to be compatible with my Dell XPS Gen 4, but my old Model # NPS-46088 D has a dfferent cable (P2) the old is a 4 pin connector, the new is a 8 pin connector, do they make a cable to adapt the new power supply or do I have to try to find another Power Supply?

If you are refering to the ATX +12v cable that plugs into the motherboard for CPU power, the connector is suppose to be designed to split into 2 4-pin connectors. Don't they separate?

If not, you can get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/HDE-8-Pin-Power-4-Pin-Cable/dp/B002BFNZAO

Thanks for the info, no the plug doesn't seperate, and the splitter cable shown will not work, because the 8 pin end has to be female.

My bad. I should have enlarged the pic and seen that. But delluser has the correct adapter for you in his link.
