Hey guys just wondering if i should get a 600watt psu or 800watt psu, i dont plan on having dual gpu's or doing any overclocking whatsoever. Im leaning more towards the 600watt since its cheaper than the 800watts but then again having more watts is good too.

Planned Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H INTEL Z77 IVY BRIDGE SLI+CROSSFIRE PCI-E3.0
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Unbuffered Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EALX 32MB 1TB
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 6950 2gb GDDR5
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-600GS 600W or Corsair CMPSU-800GS 800W
Display: AOC e2250Swda 21.5" Full HD LED

600 watts is overkill for those specs, 800w is...

I would actually go for a Corsair 750w TX series, it costs about the same (or maybe less) than the 800w gs but they're a lot higher quality according to anyone that I've ever asked. Plus the TX series are 80+ bronze rated so it'll last you longer, and deliver close to as much power as the 800w GS because it's more efficent, even though the 12v rail is 5A lower on the 750w TX.
