Hi,

I have a Dell OptiPlex 780 and three displays. Currently, two are connected to the integrated motherboard video connectors (and the third is not connected). I've read that connecting a display to an integrated video connector disables the PCI express port on this machine.

My question is, if I got a plain old PCI video card, do you think I would be able to continue using the integrated video connectors?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, any add-in graphics card will disable the on-board graphics ports. So your best option would be to get a PCI-E graphics card with 3 video outputs that you can use with your displays.
