I'm looking to upgrade my old AS Rock G41M-VS3 and Intel E5400 to a new pair. I use my pc mostly for gaming, I have a 550w Aywun PSU which should be able to handle any upgrade I get.
Thank you in advance for the help!

i suggest these motherboards MSI z77A-G43 for 100$ or msi-z77ma-G45 for 110$ or if you want something cheaper msi h61-p20 for 40$
and core i3 2120 for 130$ or i5-3550 for 200$
you didn't mention the budget

Just had a look on ebay, the i5-2400 seems to be about $180 but the ASRock Z68 is almost $200, is it just me or are motherboards a lot more expensive in Australia?
I will still most likely get this combo, thank you very much for the help! :D

What do you mean not a recognized brand? It's been running fine for about half a year now... D:

The PSU I'm running now has a 80+ certification on the box and from what I remember it wasn't too cheap
