Best CPU for 6850?

Hey guys, was just wondering whats the minimum processor would be to run the radeon 6850. My current specs:

Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V LX
CPU: Intel 2.8Ghz Dual Core
PSU: Corsair 500watt
RAM: 4GB DDR3
CASE: Zalman Z11

Ive bottlenecked it at the moment but my next upgrade would be the processor, but unsure of which one to start saving for. Would a 2.8 i5 be fine?

Budget? - i5-2500K + cooler would be sweet. Would be a long while and gpu upgrade before you bottleneck that cpu.
