Hi,
I think there must be a way to make this work, and would be grateful for your advice.
I have removed the stand from an old Dell monitor. It looks like this:

I would like to attach the stand to a recently purchased Asus monitor that has the VESA standard 100 x 100 mm holes on the back of the monitor.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to connect the two. The old Dell monitor had a sort of pocket thing that would allow me to insert the connection plate on the swivel stand. The Asus monitor just has the four holes. There is no pocket.
Is there another part I can purchase that will make it possible to attach my monitor to the stand? This probably seems like a ridiculous question, but I've never done something like this before.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
Aaron
